Commercials are full of people just like you – TV and film producers want real people, not just drama school graduates. The challenge is, if you haven’t been to stage school or had formal training, it can be difficult to come across naturally on camera. That’s where Manchester Television Workshops can help.
We work with people from every background, teaching practical acting skills and sharing industry know-how to give you the tools you need to find work in the business. Our classes are open to everyone, and we value diversity at the heart of what we do.
We only take on those we believe have potential, which is why we offer a free introductory class. It’s a chance for us to see what you can do and for you to decide whether our workshops are the right fit.

Manchester Television Workshops is a series of workshops where you will be able to meet writers, directors, producers and agents. Improve your acting skills, perfect your characteristics and work towards a showcase that will be performed in front of industry professionals.
